One of the most expected Bollywood projects of the year has got its title.
The film that will mark the third time union of director Balki and Amithabh Bachchan that also has National award winning Tamil actor Dhanush and Kamal Haasan's younger daughter Akshara in important roles has been titled as 'Shamithabh'. The Big B has confirmed the title tweeting, "The title of my new film with R Balki #SHAMITABH.The title #SHAMITABH does not have a particular meaning.. the reason for the name will be found in the film". The expectations on this film are on all time high since the earlier films 'Cheeni Kum' and 'Paa' in which Balki and Amitabh have worked together were critically acclaimed and commercially successful. The shooting of 'Shamithabh' is more than 50% complete. It has Balki's regulars Ilaiaraja for music and P.C.Sreeram to handle the camera.
