Tamil film 'Irumbukuthirai' has been roped into play the heroine of Malayalam Superstar Mammootty. Tehe film has been titled as 'Rajadhi Raja' which will go on floors soon.
Lakshmi Rai had earlier paired up with Mammootty in 'Annan Thambi' a blockbuster hit film of 2008 and 'Chattambinadu' that was a average grosser at the box office. The 'Mankatha' actress has expressed her excitement for bagging the offer to share screen space with Mammootty after almost five years since they have been tagged as a 'lucky pair' in Malayalam film industry.
Speaking about her character in the film, Lakshmi Rai said that she plays the love interest who eventually becomes the wife of Mammotty in the film. She revealed that her character in the film is bold and even dominates the lead actor in some scenes.
For 'Irumbukuthirai' which is being predominantly shot on the roads of Puducherry a promotional song is going to be canned soon in which Lakshmi will be featuring.
