She has also anchored several TV shows and has also dubbed for top actresses likeTamannah, Namitha and Shriya Saran. Suchitra moved on to a career in singing back in 2002 and got her break with music director Harris Jeyaraj for the movie "Leysa Leysa" .The song "Ennai Polave Kattru" which she sang with Chitra garnered attention and there was no looking back.Suchitra is known for her deep husky tone and her ability to sing high notes with ease.
She has several foot tapping numbers with Silambarasan to her credit."Enn Aasai Mythiliye" , "Yammadi Aathadi" , "AlibabaThangam" , "Kutti Pisaase", "Vechikkava" are a few of them.
She has also delivered two amazing hits with singer Karthik- the song "Gore Gore" from the film 'Moscowin Kaveri- and the song 'Yaaradu' from "Kaavalan" ."Arjuna Arjuna" from the movie Settai last year was another song they worked on together.
